Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra moved to the quarter-finals of the Federation Cup as Group B champions with a thrilling 13-12 win against Abahani Limited on penalties at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Wednesday.
The day’s result did not make any impact on the sides as both Sk Russell and Abahani had already qualified for the last-eight of the competition after the other team of the group Uttar Baridhara Club opted out from the tournament.
