Bashundhara Group distributes relief at Kotalipara

Bashundhara Group, one of the largest business conglomerates in the country, distributed relief items among distressed people and study materials among students at Tungipara and Kotalipara in Gopalganj on Sunday.

Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra arranged the distribution programme, marking the 91st birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib, said a press release.

A number of 6,000 jobless families received the reliefstuff, while 1,000 students received education materials at the event.

Upazila Awami League President Bhabendranath Biswas; General Secretary Sheikh Ainal Hossain; Upazila Parishad Chairman Bimal Krishna Biswas; Mayor Kamal Hossain Sheikh, and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Ltd Director Sheikh Saleh Jaman Selim spoke on the occasion, reads the release.

Besides, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Directors Mohammed Golam and Maksudur Rahman and local Awami League leaders and public representatives were present on the occasion.
